Key responsibilities for this role:
The Western Administration Officer is responsible for delivering a range of financial and administrative support tasks to the HVP Western Region. This includes maintenance and processing of the log accounting system, month end completion and managing archive of regions finance documents.
Other aspects of this role include:
- Fire season standby and support
- General office support when required
- Health and Safety
- Involvement within HVP’s Forest Stewardship and EMS program
To thrive in this role, you will ideally possess:
- Contemporary and relevant experience in administrative and finance related support roles
- Experience using Microsoft suite, with intermediate skills in Excel
- Attention to detail and skills in working within time and work quality constraints
- Self-direction and personal initiative.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work constructively with people from inside and outside of the organisation
