You will also lead initiatives that improve the consistency and visibility of silvicultural operations, including development of a Silviculture Dashboard, automated operational tools such as Site Operations Plans, and analysis of operational metrics to identify performance improvements.
On the fire management side, you will contribute to improving burn planning through use of Fuel Management Systems, manage the Melbourne-based fire support staff, and lead reviews of equipment and systems such as slip-on units, radio communications, and fire resource management system training.
This role provides a unique opportunity to influence HVP’s operational success and sustainability by coordinating key initiatives in fire and silviculture across the organisation.
