Key responsibilities for this role:  
The Systems Accountant is responsible for optimising, maintaining, and supporting the organisation’s financial systems-most critically TechnologyOne (TechOne). This role ensures that core finance processes are efficient, compliant, and well‑supported through robust system configuration, user support, reporting solutions, and continuous improvement. The role works closely with Finance, ICT, and operational teams.

  • Management accounting support
  • Regional finance support 
  • Financial accounting support
  • Projects & continuous improvement

To thrive in this role, you will ideally possess:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Systems, or related field.
  • CPA/CA preferred.
  • Hands on TechnologyOne experience is mandatory
  • Proven experience in systems accounting and financial accounting roles.
  • Strong TechOne configuration in reporting capability
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
  • Understanding of intergrations and data flows
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
  • Adaptability to handle dynamic project demands and prioritise effectively.

Other information

  • Hybrid or office-based role (HVP Melbourne office preferred) 
  • A current Australian driver’s license is mandatory for this position. At times, travel and stays to other parts Victoria will be required 
  • May require extended hours during upgrades, reporting peaks, or project milestones.
